“This area that had formerly been … just blackness was recovered.”

After an injury I sustained when I was about 12 years old, it sort of put a damper on the way that I approached life. There was sort of this, this longing to return to what I had had before in terms of my ability to communicate more freely and I had lost that. And it was this thing that I carried with me for, for literally decades.

When we were doing the Dianetics procedure on this incident, I could see everything that was happening. And this area that had formerly been what I would call just blackness was recovered. And I could hear the kids around me, I could see what was going on there, the sound, everything everybody was saying around me at the time.

I didn’t realize how much of my—my life force, emotion, negative emotion and stuff, had been trapped up in this incident. And it was—it was a burst of joy, really, tears of happiness that I regained this portion of my life. Coming out of that Dianetics session I was a changed person.
